Class of 2030: What Early Applicants Are Telling Us

By Peter Young, Founder of My School List

The Class of 2030 is only beginning to take shape in our data, but a few early signals are already worth watching. This post is a living snapshot — we will update it as more families share their lists and as early decision and early action results start to land next winter.

What we are tracking

For the Class of 2030, we are watching how families balance test-optional strategy, major selectivity, merit aid expectations, and early decision decisions. Where patterns emerge, we will surface them here with attribution to the underlying data and honest caveats about sample size.

Stay tuned. If you have a rising senior in the Class of 2030, you can start building a list now and we will fold your profile into future snapshots anonymously and with your permission.

Disclaimer: Class-year snapshots are based on self-reported data from My School List users and public admissions statistics. Individual outcomes vary. See our methodology page for how we handle data and estimates.
